Lately a lot of akathists have appeared containing dogmatic errors. Although springing from piety, these akathists generally do not include the information found in the Mines for the respective saint. It has been our decision to include only dogmatically verified akathists here, and we express our reservations about sites and apps that contain hundreds of akathists.
